Answers to some of our most frequently asked questions
Is there anything to help minimize pregnancy-related nausea?
Should I take PremesisRx® instead of my prescribed prenatal vitamin?
Should I go back to my regular multivitamin after delivery?
Is there anything to help minimize pregnancy-related nausea?
PremesisRx® offers you a safe alternative that delivers 75 mg of specially formulated controlled-release vitamin B6, an amount that has been shown to help reduce morning sickness symptoms. (7,11) PremesisRx® also contains 200 mg of CalciPure™ calcium carbonate that may act as a stomach buffer. (17)

Should I take PremesisRx® instead of my prescribed prenatal vitamin?
PremesisRx® is designed to be used in conjunction with your prenatal vitamin, as prescribed by your physician. Prenatal nutrition is important but nausea and vomiting can cause women to miss meals and important nutrients from both a balanced diet and prenatal vitamin supplementation. PremesisRx® also contains 200 mg of CalciPure™ calcium carbonate to help buffer the stomach, as well as 1 mg of folic acid which has been shown to reduce neural tube defects (NTDs) up to 57%.   Should I go back to my regular multivitamin after delivery?
Ther-Rx prenatal vitamins can be taken before, during and after delivery. Talk with your
doctor about continuing your prenatal vitamin after you deliver to help provide you with
essential nutrients that have been depleted during pregnancy. Iron stores and EFA stores
are two important nutrients that become depleted through pregnancy and the birthing
process. Learn more about PrimaCare® and PreCare® Prenatal for advanced nutritional
support beyond pregnancy.
